Flunixin (as flunixin meglumine) - 50 mg

Vehicle, cbp - 1 ml.

Warnings

1. The withdrawal period before slaughter of animals intended for human consumption is 7 days for cattle and 21 days for pigs.2. Do not administer to pregnant females, in milk production and calves.3. Do not administer to canines under 3 months of age.4. Prolonged use in weakened canines should be avoided by administering other anti-inflammatory therapy.5. Do not use in case of severe kidney or liver damage, or in animals with gastrointestinal mucosal damage caused by endoparasites. 6. Do not use in colic caused by ileus and associated with dehydration.7. In canines, do not administer more than once in those that have received treatment with corticosteroids.8. Do not mix other medications in the same syringe.

It is indicated in the therapy of acute inflammatory processes associated with respiratory diseases, septicemia, mastitis, metritis, agalactia and in general as a symptomatic treatment of conditions that involve inflammation, pain and fever.

Presentation:

Route of Administration:

Bovines, horses and canines: Intramuscular or intravenous. Pigs: Intramuscular.


Dosage:

Cattle: 1.1 to 2.2 mg/kg. Pigs: 2.2 mg/kg. Equines: 1.1 mg/kg. Canines: 0.5 to 2.2 mg/kg. DOSAGE EXAMPLES

Cattle: 1 to 2 ml per 45 kg of live weight, repeating if necessary 12 hours later.

Pigs: 2 ml per 45 kg of live weight, repeating if necessary 12 hours later.

Equines: 1 ml per 45 kg of live weight. One application per day for a maximum of 5 days.

Canines: From 0.1 to 0.44 ml per 10 kg of live weight. One application per day for a maximum of 3 days.

Indications of use:

It contains flunixin meglumine, which is a non-steroidal and non-narcotic anti-inflammatory, with analgesic and antipyretic properties. It is recommended in acute inflammatory processes associated with respiratory diseases, septicemia, mastitis, metritis, agalactia and in general as a symptomatic treatment of conditions that involve inflammation, pain and fever in cattle, pigs, horses and canines.
